The October 2022 issue of Mythlore, the journal of the Mythopoeic Society, includes "David Lindsay's The Violet Apple" by Eric Wills, which examines Lindsay's posthumously published novel through the philosophy of Hegel — something Wills did for Lindsay's Devil's Tor and Sphinx in a 2021 issue of Studies in Scottish Literature.
