Colin Wilson's Eagle and Earwig reissued
2 October 2018

A new hardback edition of Colin Wilson's 1965 collection of essays on books and writers, Eagle and Earwig, has been issued by Eyewear Publishing. Slightly retitled Eagles and Earwigs, it has been edited and annotated by Colin Stanley, and has an introduction by Gary Lachman. There's a write-up on the publisher's shop page and the publisher's news entry for the book.

Eagle and Earwig contains Wilson's first published essay on David Lindsay, entitled "Lindsay — A Voyage to Arcturus", 33 pages long in the original printing. (I cover it on my page about Wilson's many writings on Lindsay.) There's also a long essay on Lindsay's writer-friend L H Myers, plus a host of other writers. It can be bought from Amazon, or from the publisher, Eyewear Publishing.
